Founder & CEO

Shivanand Basavanthappa

Shivanand Basavanthappa is a highly acclaimed contemporary artist, curator, and the creative force behind Bodhi Artistic Furniture and Collectibles. A recipient of the prestigious National Award from the Central Lalit Kala Akademi, he is widely recognized for his profound conceptual art and brilliant creative prowess.

Shivanand brings invaluable institutional experience to the brand, having previously served as a Programme & Exhibition Officer at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA). As an expert art advisor and seasoned curator, he has organized numerous landmark exhibitions, bridging the gap between emerging talent and elite art collectors.

Through Bodhi Art Gallery, Shivanand channels his visionary artistry and deep knowledge of historical aesthetics into creating bespoke heritage furniture and sourcing rare, timeless collectibles for patrons worldwide.
