Harmonious Shepherdess

Set against a serene, rocky landscape, this original oil painting vividly captures the timeless warmth of Indian pastoral life. The composition centers on a village woman dressed in traditional attire—featuring an orange ghagra with vibrant multi-colored borders, a white tunic, green sleeves, and traditional golden jewelry.

With gentle grace, she hand-feeds leaves to a small black kid, while four other goats surround her in a moment of quiet affection. The rich, warm oil hues and fine brushwork bring life to the soft textures of the animals' coats, the intricate folds of her garments, and the natural tones of the countryside background. A striking piece celebrating human-animal harmony, rustic culture, and feminine grace.
